Rose Bud

This colorfully illustrated children’s book has adorable characters and introduces a very special ladybug. Her name is Rose Bud, and she was born with a rose over her heart. Read about Rose Bud’s adventures as she goes looking for her missing dad and meets many friends and villains. Rose & Frank

Rose Winn is a student at Full Sail University, where she is pursuing a degree in the Arts. She attended school in Fernandina Beach and Douglas Anderson School of Arts, where she began her journey. She has directed numerous productions in her community and is thrilled to add an Author to her list of talents. Working with her father Frank has been a blast and she hopes kids all over the world will enjoy “The Adventures of Rose Bud!”

Frank Winn was born in Yonkers, New York, one of six children. He is married to his wife Kathleen and their daughter is Rose Marie Winn. Frank is currently a resident of Fernandina Beach, Florida, and has spent 40 years working in Aerospace, Aviation, and Defense businesses. During this time, he worked as a Manager for the Space Shuttle Program. Frank invented “The Invisible Jump Rope” in 1992. He is currently working part-time as a business assessor and loves spending time writing children’s books with his daughter Rose (aka Rose Bud).

This is the first of several books, about a very special ladybug. Her name is Rose Bud. Born 1 of 21 ladybugs, she was born with a rose over her heart. Her mother instantly called her Rose Bud, because she was much too beautiful to be just another ladybug. Soon after her birth, Rose Bud asks about her Dad. Her mother explained that one winter day he went off in search of food and never returned Rose Bud is determined to find her Dad, which leads her to go on many exciting adventures. Little does she realize, that the rose over her heart is not only beautiful but has a special power! A power that can sometimes change bad to good and asks everyone she meets to, “Let’s be friends”.
